Festival of Trees
I have always wanted to decorate a tree for the Festival of Trees so this year I finally did it. I just did one of the little trees, but it was a lot of fun. My first graders helped me. They painted the little gold star ornaments and the red star ornaments were painted by my friend Julie's class. We really enjoyed decorating this tree and I plan on doing another tree next year!
My mom even came up to help us decorate!
High five! This is us high fiving because our tree actually sold!
BYU VS Utah
Kory had some friends over before the "biggest" game of the year!
Rise and shout the Cougars are out! This year Kory and I had season tickets to the BYU games. I can honestly say that I am actually starting to understand what the heck is going on down there on the field. I have a feeling like I will have a lot more years to learn.
Spencer and Kory.. just letting the win soak in!
The final score
Poor little Kory in the Emergency Room on Thanksgiving day. Kory and I drove down to Las Vegas to spend time with Kory's two brothers and thier kids for Thanksgiving. ON Thanksgiving morning Kory all of the sudden had sharp pains in his side. He basically thought he was dieing and we were both scared so we took him the the ER. They did all kinds of test and CAT scans and it turned out that he had a kidney stone. We spent six hours in the emergency room. I thought for sure they were never going to let us out. The doc gave Kory some pain medicine and we were on our way to Thanksgiving dinner.
We were all so happy Kory made it out of the ER in time for Thanksgiving dinner!

I love that you did the Festival of Trees, I have always wanted to do that! Hope Kory is doing good!
What a darling tree! Love it!
The game looks like it was super fun, Kidney stones on the other hand do not.
Your tree turned out awesome and I am so glad that it sold!!
That is so fun that you decorated and sold a tree at Festival of Trees. Very cute! Sorry about the kidney stones and the horrible football game results. Go Utes!
How cool that your class did a tree for the festival of trees! and it sold! That is great!
Poor Kory too. I"m so sorry he had a kidney stone. Especially on thanksgiving. It sounds pathetic, but the only way I know anything about you guys is by going on your blog. I'll tell Mike, Hey did you know this....Oh yeah, I knew that...It's like he doesn't tell me anything! :)
I didn't know you did a tree for the Festival of Tress. I did my first tree this year too! That is awesome that yours sold. Congrats!
Check my blog! I have some great pics of the BYU-Utah game! Season tickets for 17 years! Kidney stones? I've had 5 attacks in 2 years! One was in Boston (passed on my own), one was in December...I was in Kaysville, attending my uncle's funeral. You can't leave when you take your mother to her brother's funeral! (burial in Nephi...my mom's brother from Florida drove me back...I drove myself to ER.) Flomax is the drug of choice! I feel for you, Kory!
